Licensed Clinical Supervisor in Placerville for Senior Peer Counseling of El Dorado County. We provide free counseling to adults 55+ for the issues of aging, along with grief, depression, relationships and anxiety.This is a contractor position without benefits, starting at $120 per hour, part time and flexible.

Responsibilities:

Provide weekly group supervision to volunteer peer counselors and individual supervision as needed.

Effectively manage the counseling program, including use of forms, auditing charts quarterly.

Collect data on client demographics and service outcomes.

Write and submit quarterly and annual reports to the funding source.

Collaborate with the Office Administrator and Program Manager.

Train new peer counselors once a year with established protocols and manual.

Work averages 10 hours per week with fluctuations throughout the year

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed mental health provider in good standing and have experience supervising counselors or interns.

Have experience training or teaching counselors or interns.

Knowledge in the issues of aging or willingness to learn.

Strong leadership skills, detail oriented, ethics oriented, culturally competent.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
