    Hi all,

“I so appreciate having you folks to refer survivors to.
    — Pete Walker, Author of Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving

It is with great pleasure that we announce our next Updated 20-Week Group Intensive Program: Healing Your Past — Transforming Your Future, beginning Saturday, October 11th. Now available virtually no matter where one lives in California.

Our 20-Week trauma-informed Group Program combines Pete Walker's work on Complex PTSD, Brené Brown’s teachings about shame, vulnerability, and connection, the pioneering work of John Bradshaw’s nationally acclaimed approaches to emotional healing, and breakthroughs in neuroscience — all providing freedom from toxic shame, healing for the inner child, and empowering growth beyond attachment wounds.

Originally developed when we were the counseling affiliate of the John Bradshaw Center, this program focuses on healing family of origin wounds, toxic shame, and codependency. Our Intensive is a powerful and effective adjunct for individual and couples therapy when abandonment wounds, depression, low self-esteem, and shame are keeping your client stuck or in repetitive cycles. It is also a supportive and growthful adjunct for someone who is working a 12-Step program and has at least six months of sobriety/abstinence.

Our focus on healing the inner child is accomplished through a combination of psychoeducation, experiential work, and guided exercises. Using the Zoom platform, we successfully incorporate psychodrama and somatic work in a safe container that permits each participant to do the deep healing work necessary to free themselves from shame binds and early trauma. With all new graphics and updated and expanded written materials, the psychoeducational portion of our program provides a cognitive framework and new perspectives that support group members in doing their inner work.

Here’s what some recent graduates of our Zoom program report:

“How has it impacted my life? Self-compassion, self-forgiveness and self-love. I learned so much about codependency, generational traumas, meditation, and so much more. I feel more free and lighter."

"How can I capture the meaningfulness of this Program for me? I can honestly say that every single aspect of this Program was helpful to me, even (or especially) the difficult, painful, challenging moments."

"This program has changed my life in ways I am still identifying. It was a profound experience. My inner child is still thanking me for it. If I could do it again, I would."

"Daniel, our group facilitator, was very understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. He brought out our deepest pain, shame and traumas and helped us tackle these issues and release the pain from our bodies."

"Zoom was perfect as I was able to balance work, life, family and therapy. Daniel created an atmosphere where I felt close to others even though it was online."

An inclusive program for all, we have openings in our Intensive scheduled to start Saturday, October 11th.
