Gottman Level II Training

Program:
All participants will receive a certificate of Level Two completion from the Gottman Institute AND will receive a copy of the Gottman Level Two Clinical Manual (including Gottman Core Assessments, Gottman Supplemental Assessments and more than 50 Gottman Interventions)
Participants will be able to:
Assess a couple’s “Friendship Profile,” “Conflict Profile,” and “Shared Meanings Profile.”
Develop interventions that couples can use as antidotes to the “Four Horsemen.”
Help couples to soothe physiological flooding.
Apply six modes of changing the “Attack/Defend System” in a couple’s interactions.
Assist couples in establishing dialogue about their grid-locked conflicts.
Select and implement interventions to help couples deepen their “Friendship System” with rituals of connection.
Select and implement interventions to help couples create a shared system of values and meaning
Identify and implement five different co-morbidities common to couples using Gottman Couples Therapy Assessment and Intervention

About the Presenters:
Robert Navarra, Psy.D., M.F.T., M.A.C., Certified Gottman Method Therapist, Consultant and Trainer, is highly renowned for his outstanding advanced training workshops in the Gottman Method. He is a Research Associate at Mental Research Institute in Palo Alto, and he co-authored a chapter with Dr. John Gottman with whom he is collaborating on researching a relational approach to alcoholism treatment.
Nina Grueneberger, LCSW, is a Certified Gottman Method Therapist and Board Certified Diplomate through the National Association of Social Workers. Her 25 years of work in her community has resulted in a stellar reputation as a psycho-therapist and consultant. Through her long-term relationship with The Gottman Institute, she has been designated a Senior Certified Gottman Therapist, International Consultant, and Master Trainer.

Discount on Level 1 Home Study: $75 discount code (25% discount, retail price is $299) on the Level 1 home study for anyone who registers for the Level 2 training and has not completed the Level 1 training yet. It’s recommended you complete Level 1 training and submit your test (found in the back of the Level 1 manual) to CMI at least two weeks prior to the Level 2 live training so you receive your certificate of completion from CMI (the CE provider for the homestudy) to be presented at the live training.
