Some of the things we’ll cover:

  • Understanding the 3000-Hour Requirement
  • Breakdown of hour categories
  • Direct vs non-clinical hours
  • Supervision requirements
  • Documentation & Tracking
  • BBS Forms
  • Tips on how to stay organized
  • Preparing for Licensure & Exams
  • Timeline for testing

Presenter

Jacquline Alvarado, MA, PPS, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and educator with five years of clinical experience supporting adolescents and adults ages 14 and older, including clients well into their 70s and 80s. She earned her Master’s of Arts in Counseling from St. Mary’s College of California (SMC) and currently serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Counseling Department at St. Mary’s College of California. Jacquline specializes in working with clients navigating trauma responses that often present as people-pleasing and perfectionism, as well as neurodivergence, substance use disorders, and high-achieving healers who find themselves caring deeply for others while struggling to extend that same care inward. Her work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic body-based practices, Narrative Therapy, psychoeducation, and psychoanalytic frameworks. She approaches therapy as both a science and an art, integrating evidence-based treatment with deep relational attunement. Jacquline is passionate about creating spaces where clients and students alike feel supported, challenged, and empowered in their growth. She considers it a privilege to witness the courage it takes to heal. Learn more at www.jackiealvaradolmft.com.
