About Me
My passion as a therapist is deeply influenced by my experience serving in the United States Air Force for nine years. Personally witnessing the profound impact of trauma on one’s life ignited my desire to understand it better and to assist others in recognizing the benefits and significance of therapy. Grounded in humanistic, existential, and systemic theoretical approaches, I provide psychoeducation to help clients comprehend how trauma affects both the body and mind. My therapeutic approach is structured around a comprehensive four-phase model designed to guide clients in processing their trauma while creating a safe and supportive environment for their healing journey. I am a certified Somatic EMDR practitioner and am currently completing my Clinical Trauma Professional certification. Additionally, I incorporate various modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems, into my clients' treatment plans.
