Description

This is a live streaming event.
A recording will be available for viewing for 21 days afterward (Oct. 4 - Oct. 25) for anyone who can't attend the live streaming event.

The road to licensure is paved with good intentions and lots of regulations. This presentation will provide an overview of key licensure laws and regulations pre-licensees and their supervisors should be aware of.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the licensure process for marriage and family therapists, the roles and responsibilities of pre-licensees and supervisors, and how to navigate common challenges these parties often encounter.

A recording of this event will be available for 21 days after the event and will be automatically emailed to all registrants during the week of June 7th. 2 CEs provided for licensed members by RRC CAMFT, Approval Number #50119.

Course completion certificates will be awarded to licensed participants upon request. Send an email to reddingcamft@gmail.com if you require a CE Certificate.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will understand how the BBS counts applicants’ supervised experience hours under the “Option 1” system
  • Participants will be able to: a) distinguish between the two 90-day rules and the two six-year rules; and b) state how these rules impact the licensure process
  • Participants will be able to identify the work settings in which MFT trainees and associates can accumulate supervised experience hours
  • Participants will be able to identify the eligibility requirements for, and responsibilities of supervisors
